Gardens of la Hague, Cap Cotentin

The mild climate of the Hague has created a beautiful green setting, encouraged and nurtured by keen on botanists.

With your "Pass Jardin", visit the most beautiful parks and gardens of this beautiful region.

  • Vauville botanical garden

Ranked "Remarkable Garden" in 2004, the Botanical Gardens of Vauville extend over 4 hectares with more than 900 species from the southern hemisphere.

Surrounding the Chateau de Vauville, the architectural jewel of the region, the garden is a series of green spaces where the subtropical atmosphere is quite amazing.

  • Parc de Nacqueville

This beautiful park is was conceived in 1830 by Hippolyte de Tocqueville, who created "one of the most beautiful places in the world," according to his brother Alexis. Powered by waterfalls, fountains and flowers, with a river that winds through the middle. It offers a sea view, a kingdom of azaleas and rhododendrons, and serves as a backdrop to a 16th century castle, built in granite with roofs of stone.

Ranked as a "Remarkable Garden" in 2004

  • Jardin en Hommage à Jacques Prévert

Gardens created in homage to the poet, classified "Remarkable Garden" in 2004 and located away from the prevailing winds behind Port Racine. Trees and shrubs thrive - many of them gifts given by many famous friends of Prévert. A very original garden, delicately arranged, where the plants echo the poems and quotes of Jacques Prévert.
